This is a genuine NISMO pilot bearing, fitting many and most Nissan and Infiniti models equipped with a manual transmission. This bearing replaces the factory bronze type pilot bushing with a lower friction needle bearing, reducing drag and friction on the input shaft of the transmission.
Because these are not a sealed type bearing they're better suited for race cars that are serviced often, as their lifespan tends to be significantly shorter than bronze type pilot bushings.
