Z1 Motorsports Akebono Sport Brake Package for all '03+ 350z & '02+ G35 models (Coupe & Sedan).
Z1 is now offering a complete rear brake upgrade package for all G35 and 350z owners looking for an economical big brake kit, in comparison to the much more expensive aftermarket kits already available. Produced by Akebono Japan by request from Nissan Motors for the '09+ Nissan 370Z and the '08+ G37, the quality and durability of these calipers and hardware are undeniable.
The beauty of the Z1 Motorsports 14" Akebono brake kit, as opposed to much more expensive aftermarket brake kits, lies in the fact that it uses OEM Nissan/Infiniti parts. This means there will not be the added headache associated with extended wait periods on expensive replacement parts. Almost all of the parts found in the Z1 Motorsports Akebono Kits can be purchased from any local area Nissan or Infiniti Dealer any where in the country! At the same time, unlike our competitor's brake kits, there are no special brake lines required to install the kit. If you already have an aftermarket set of SS Brake Lines, you will not have to change them out from proper installation
Paired with the Z1 Stainless Steel Brake Lines, your Z/G will have one of the ultimate brake upgrades on the market.
The Z1 Motorsports 14" Akebono Rear Brake Kit will function with the OEM Parking Brake without any modification necessary.

- OEM Nissan Rear Caliper Hardware Kit (Inlcudes springs, shims, pins and clips)
- Your choice of either Slotted, Cross Drilled or OEM Brake Rotors (Pair)
- Your choice of Centric Posi-Quiet, Hawk HPS, NISMO or OEM Nissan Brake Pads
- Z1 Motorsports Custom Caliper brackets (For a TRUE bolt-on installation)

Z1 Custom Car Note:
For 350Z/G35 owners who are planning on eventually Powder Coating their Brake Calipers, you may select to use the Infiniti G37 Sport Calipers. Produced by Akebono, these are a cheaper alternative to the NISSAN branded calipers.
Installation note:
You must either trim or remove the dust shields behind the brake rotor in order to all for the proper clearance of the larger 14" brake rotors and calipers.
The 14" Akebono Big Brake Kit requires 18" or larger wheels for correct fitment.
