Coolant temp sensor adapter

This cast aluminum adapter fits into the upper radiator hose and is threaded with either 1/8" NPT or 1/8" BSPT to accommodate most aftermarket coolant temperature sensors.  

Allows you to install a coolant temperature sending unit for an aftermarket gauge or a thermatic switch without having to drill and tap existing metal pipes.  Design allows permits install into the curved portion of the upper radiator hose for a perfect fit.  Simply cut and trim the upper radiator hose and install this adapter in-line.  Includes the two additional clamps you'll need.

See options below to select the appropriate thread pitch.   Autometer gauges and many thermatic switches have a sending unit with a 1/8" NPT (27) thread pitch.  Most of the gauges and electronics made Japan including Defi, Greddy, Apex-i, HKS have sending units with a 1/8" BSPT (28) thread pitch.
