Z1 Motorsports Akebono Sport Brake Package for all '90+ 300ZX models is a complete front brake upgrade package for all '90+ 300ZX owners looking for an economical big brake kit, in comparison to the much more expensive aftermarket kits already available. Produced by Akebono Japan by request from Nissan Motors for the '09+ Nissan 370Z and the '08+ G37, the quality and durability of these calipers and hardware are undeniable.
The beauty of the Z1 Motorsports 14" Akebono brake kit, as opposed to much more expensive aftermarket brake kits, lies in the fact that it uses OEM Nissan/Infiniti parts. This means there will not be the added headache associated with extended wait periods on expensive replacement parts. Almost all of the parts found in the Z1 Motorsports Akebono Kits can be purchased from any local area Nissan or Infiniti Dealer any where in the country! At the same time, unlike our competitor's brake kits, there are no special brake lines required to install the kit. If you already have an aftermarket set of SS Brake Lines, you will not have to change them out for proper installation.
Paired with the Z1 Stainless Steel Brake Lines and optional Z1 Brake Master Cylinder Brace, your Z will have one of the ultimate brake upgrades on the market.

Brake Line Banjo Bolts
Short banjo bolts are used when converting your braking system from stock NON Sport brake calipers to Akebono Sport Brake Calipers. The OE banjo bolt is too long and will not seal properly making this bolt the missing link between your Non Sport Brake Lines and the Sport Caliper Upgrade. Included is a full set with crush washers. Additionally, you may choose to purchase Z1 Stainless Steel Brake Lines for your respective model to even further enhance pedal feel.
Z1 Custom Car Note:
For 300zx owners who are planning on eventually Powder Coating their Brake Calipers, you may select to use the Infiniti G37 Sport Calipers. Produced by Akebono, these are a cheaper alternative to the NISSAN branded calipers.
Installation note:
You must either trim or remove the dust shields behind the brake rotor in order to have the proper clearance of the larger 14" brake rotors and calipers.
