As mentioned in another review, these are necessary to properly install the window moulding to keep them from flying off the car. These make for a perfect fit when done correctly. I gave them 4 stars because I had to use some 3M 6382 attachment tape since the 2-sided tape already on the retainers was useless!

These are abolutely nessessary to replace your windshield properly. Windshield companies DON'T have them! Most originals get damaged on WS replacement so they fill with sealer that eventually leaks.
