Z1 uses Carrillo rods in our Stage 3+ builds because they are plenty strong for the VG30DETT application and keep the weight down (499 grams for A Beams). These are the rods NISMO sells at a huge mark up! Carrillo rods are made in San Clemente California of a proprietary chrome/nickel/vanadium alloy known as Carrilloloy.
