Z1 Motorsports Silicone Oil Filter Coolant Hose (Short) for all '03-'06 350Z & G35 coupe models.
4 ply reinforced high quality silicone hose, custom formed for perfect fitments. This hose is located on just in front of the motor, in the center of the engine connecting the two Oil Filter Coolant hard pipes together.
The VQ35DE/HR engines are equipped with a special sandwich adapter that cools the engine's vital oil as it is passed from the block to the oil filter. By allowing the cooler engine coolant to circulate around the oil passages, the engine's coolant can thereby extract any unnecessary (...and harmful) heat from the oil. This will not only result in cooler oil temperatures, but will greatly extend the life of the engine.
Over time the factory rubber hoses will crack and deteriorate forming coolant leaks. Not only will this allow air into the coolant system, but this will prevent the cooling system from functioning at its full capacity.
This is the last Oil Filter Coolant hose you will ever need. Unlike conventional stock rubber hoses that will deteriorate over time, dry rot, and ultimately crack this silicone hose will stay soft and never degrade. Best of all it costs less than a new OEM rubber hose.
