Bronze Valve Guides have more wear resistance than the stock steel valve guides.

Whether rebuilding stock or High HP applications, these are a great idea for anyone rebuilding a VG30DE(TT) engine.  To properly perform a port job it is recommended to drive out stock valve guides and we recommend driving back in a set of bronze guides when the port work is completed.
