Product Description
As 350Z’s and G35’s are getting older, the OEM bushings are failing on many cars. To replace a single bushing with OEM parts, an entire new suspension arm must be purchased. Solid hemispherical bearings can be purchased at a higher price for the same application but because of their harshness they are not always the best choice for daily driven cars.
We offer urethane bushings to replace your busted or worn stock bushings that will still deliver suitable ride quality, but are a bit firmer to accommodate performance driving. Don't replace busted OE bushings with more OE bushings that will fail again, when the Energy Suspension bushings will last the life of the car and offer increased performance, all for less price.
This kit includes three sets of bushings that are the most common to fail.
Note: These Bushings do not fit the AWD G35 models!
If you've lowered your 350Z or G35, it's only a matter of time before these bushing will have to be replaced. Z1 Motorsports offers all of these bushings separately or together in this package for a discounted price. This kit does not include the front upper control arm bushings which are not as prone to failure and not necessary for those who have aftermarket adjustable front upper (camber) arms. Don’t classify myself as a mechanic but this was honestly a super easy install and removal of old bushings you could use a bushing removal tool but i used what i had tool wise
-hole saw or drill bit to cut out the old rubber bushing
-sawzall to cut a line down the outter sleeve
-hammer and flat head screw driver to push out outter old bushings sleeve and hammer to help press new z1 bushings in

Great alternative to replacing the entire arms. Overall, removal of the old bushings was much more difficult than installing the new. Tip for the shock mount bushing: After removing the old one, clean the surfaces and notice that one side has a small taper. Use a Dremel or die grinder to make a similar taper on the other side of the hole. This will allow a tiny bit of expansion which makes it easier to get the male side of the bushing into the female.

Installed the bushings they work fine no squeaking, front end feels a little tighter. Easily can be pressed by hand EXCEPT the shock mount bushings. My advice to you is to save yourself the time, money and frustration and don’t even bother with them the others are fine though.

Due to age of our cars these are a must have. Recommend getting a hydraulic press from harbor freight, definitely make the job much easier.

As of now, cant get these in to save my life, super frustrating, one would think that these would be perfectly measured for a snug fit. Going to try to freeze the ribbed pieces to see if that helps as youtube suggests! Should definetly be suggested by Z1 in the first place if thats what does the trick. If you buy these go ahead and do that first to save yourself the stinging feeling of defeat from trying to install them straight out of the bag. Im a grease covered loser right now :'[

This was in one of my first orders with Z1 after buying my 350Z a few months ago. I deeply regret buying this kit and have thrown all the pieces away to replace with SPL bushings. I'm steering clear of Energy Suspension (aka "Z1") bushings now. At first, I thought this was a good budget option since I wasn't committed to buying SPL at the time, but learned my lesson. When I finally bought a shop press to push out the deeply flawed shock mount bushing which was jammed into the LCA (and STILL not seated) I saw how soft this "polyurethane" is. It's cheap for a reason; you get what you pay for. Better to use OEM or Nismo bushings than these.

The shock mount bushing is a flawed design that is impossible to install without modifying the pieces. I should not have to cut the polyurethane to get it installed. The other two bushings don't have this problem. 1 star for the shock mount bushing. I'm very unhappy with this part and will be replacing it.

The non-ribbed bushings went in fine, but the ribbed strut mount bushings would not go all the way in no matter what I tried. Unsure if this will affect anything but this derailed my suspension install.

Having purchased a 2005 g35 sedan 6mt with 93k miles, the front bushings were toast. Needing to keep things as close to stock with a little upgrade, due to the nature of living off the beaten path, i went with this kit. I cannot express how much better this made the car feel and respond.
