Full open height is within 2 inches of the stock height, plenty of room for working under the hood.
A nice feature with our struts is you can lower them a little and they will stay for that low profile "show look".
The pressure of the struts is completely reasonable, no unwanted hood bulging when closed, easy to close, perfect function and form.
