NISMO 350Z / G35 VQ35DE Cold Air Intake

Great intake i made my red Z1 intake coupler work which made the install pretty hard but other than that it was pretty easy. Oh and install the shield first.

I bought this because I liked the clean look and simplicity. I got a friend to helped me out install it on my JDM Nissan Skyline 350GT. In this side of the pond, it is called that. For 90% of the time, the installation was quite simple and straightforward. However, at some point, he had to buy some clamps and hose. Had some issues with clerance on a RHD car. Made working on the car tighter. Everything located on the opposite side. Eventually installed and within 24 hours the filter came off. It was oiled and made the fitment slippery. Fitted it back on and tightened it, so far it has stayed put. Yes, it makes the car more aggressive but since my car already had a Borla S Type cat back exhaust fitted. The exhaust drowned the cold air intake noise. It does however compliment the exhaust noise. The most noticeable difference is that I felt the car breathes better. On hard acceleration, it keeps pulling and pulling without running out of breath. A good purchase I must say. Not as aggressive as I wanted but satisfied overall
