Product Description
The 21-821DS Performance Cold Air Intake System produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing the restrictive air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Nissan 370Z models. This system replaces both the left and right side intakes. The AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter does not require oiling and can be used up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed (depending on driving conditions). The heat shield is a two piece design and also utilizes the factory air ducting. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel bent aluminum and has a durable gray powder coat finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the mass air flow sensor and PCV hose. The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Super Easy install !
but be aware during the installation to the Power steering hose that goes to the Pump make sure it is not toasted and hard or else the heat shield will press it and crack it causing it to leak / I Highly Recommend to replace the Power steering hose that goes to the pump as soon as you inspect and can feel it is toasted : the part number for the hose is : 49717-JK000 / and make sure you align it in the correct position so it wont touch or be pressed by the heat shield .
the product deception :
1- Intake Tube are Plastic and not Aluminum .
2- PCV ELBOW adapter is Plastic be very careful not to over tight it or else it will break / you don't need to tight to the last thread / 2 threads must be seen.
3- heat shields are Aluminum .

overhaul it is an excellent product and fits perfectly especially if you don't rush it and follow the instructions and i highly recommend to remove the strut bar as well for easier installation and clearance .

Absolute garbage plastic 90 degree fittings leaving me stranded night of trying to do install I'd suggest picking up metal ones before you try throwing them in or you have an 80 percent chance of having a real bad time. Snapped in half pushing hose or attempting to by hand other side doesn't line up great had to end up buturing stock hose to get it to fit just give you a tiny straight peice that would kink trying to put it on. Other then that seem to fit etc haven't got to give em a try for obvious reasons but hey.
