The optional bolt on "idle air balance kit" is a feature that sets this dual air intake kit apart from other separated dual air intake kits on the market. This idle air balance kit which may also be referred to as a "low speed drive-ability kit", requires less modification and is less intrusive to the engine bay providing for a simpler, cleaner installation. If you select the idle air balance kit option you must also selct the associated $100 core charge, unless you are sending in the two core items first.
If you choose the optional idle air balance kit, the $100 refundable core charge applies for modified RH compressor outlet pipe and idle air inlet tube. After installation, return the 2 unmodified stock parts along with this included CORE RETURN SHEET for credit.

For those planning to run a second MAS (mass air flow sensor) managed through an AFC or a Selin device, we offer the option below of no dummy MAS for additional savings, or the option to purchase a good used or new Nissan OEM Mass Air Flow Sensor.
Requires (2) filter assemblies. If you have (1) existing "pop charger" style intake you will need to purchase only (1) additional filter. Filters can be purchased as an option below.
Requires ECU EPROM upgrade available as an option below. If selecting EPROM upgrade please specify Year, Injector Size, Auto or Manual, Fuel Type in the comments section of your order. This option is for the EPROM chip only. We assume you already have an upgraded (socketed) ECU. If not please contact us to purchase an ECU upgrade. If you already have a Z1 Motorsports ECU upgrade, the dual intake EPROM upgrade is $50. This will be verified against our records. If you do not have a Z1 ECU upgrade you may select a Z1 EPROM upgrade for $100 with no core required. You may also select a JWT upgrade for $100, however you must also select to pay the $250 core charge JWT requires, which will be refunded a few weeks after you return your original EPROM to JWT.
We now offer the Selin Dual MAF Translator as an option with these kits. The Selin Dual MAF Translator will allow you to eliminate the need for our idle air blance kit or any low speed drive-ability modifications. It does require the purchase of a functional 2nd Z32 MAF sensor. For high horsepower systems a dual intake EPROM is recommended to raise the air flow level recognized by the ECU.
