Product Description
OEM G37 / Q60 Negative Battery Ground Cable.
Under normal conditions, your battery is designed to vent excess gasses to prevent pressure from building up on the plates. Unfortunately, this process allows harmful acids and gasses to reach the metals on top of the battery case, more specifically the battery terminals and fusible link. This causes a build up of corrosion which in short time can erode the metal terminal and reduce the terminals contact patch to the battery post causing no-start or hard start conditions.
Because the negative terminal is crimped to the battery ground cable, replacement of the entire cable is required to replace the terminal.

Well made to OEM spec. Good replacement for when the connector has been stretched and can still be wiggled off the battery terminal with the nut fully tightened. Immediate and significant improvement in the speed at which the engine cranks over in all conditions. Definitely check the contact quality of the ground conne tor to the terminal before looking at aftermarket grounding kits.
A real pain to install due to the tight location of a relay box above the cable's mounting points. Very straightforward aside from difficult access.
