Product Description
Motul 5.1 Brake Fluid is the latest generation of dot-approved brake fluid. It surpasses dot 3 and dot 4 standards. Motul 5.1 is a non-silicone fully synthetic formula specially deisgned for non-ABS and ABS braking systems. Its low viscosity formula makes it easy for the fluid to travel into the tiny passages and micro-valves of an ABS system, even at low temperatures! This brake fluid is fully compatible with DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. Comes in a 500ml (1.05 pint) bottle. Sold per bottle. Three bottles recommended for full system flush.
Typical Dry Boiling Point: 522°F / 272°C
Typical Wet Boiling Point: 365°F / 185°C
**Do not mix with dot 5 compatible with dot 3, dot 4, and dot 5.1**

I use this break fluid over the dot 3 OEM one. Got a better braking response and shorter stopping distance. I did upgrade my breaking rotors, pads, and lines with the Z1 370Z Brake Upgrade kit in 2020 though.

Great brake fluid i got remanned brembos and lines and switched to the 5.1 only downside is that you need a few bottles and not many stores carry it

Fine product, good price, does get warm during track days at advanced level. Decent all around product other than full on racing. Buy the 600 if you really put the heat in the brakes.

Used with the master cylinder brace and stainless steel brake lines. I used these during an SCCA Track Night in America event, and I was amazed at how effective my stock brakes were with no fade. In fact, I found myself braking way too early for the turns and had to force myself to wait for a count or two. I lost confidence in my tires before I lost confidence in my brakes.
