This banjo bolt is used when converting your braking system from stock NON Sport brake calipers to the Brembo or Akebono Sport Brake Calipers. The OE banjo bolt is too long and will not seal properly making this bolt the missing link between your Non Sport Brake Lines and the Sport Caliper Upgrade. Sold Individually.

    In the description it is mentioned the the shorter banjo bolts are needed when upgrading from non-sport brakes to Brembo or Akebono. Does this mean the banjo bolts are the same for both Brembo and Akebono?

    Response: The diameter and thread pitch is similar but you need the shorter ones for the Akebono because the bore is shallower. If you use the longer bolt it will bottom out and pull the threads out before the line gets tight.
