When pressing the brake pedal, the force applied is transferred through the pedal assembly and unto the firewall. Although reinforced, the firewall is still easily manipulated. Z1's Brake Master Cylinder Brace provides a halt to this flex by securing the Master Cylinder against a solid aluminum bracket fastened directly to the chassis.
If you are not convinced of the need for such an accessory, grab a friend and pop the hood or your Z. Remove any covers around your brake Master Cylinder.
