Two-Piece Brembo Rotors for vehicles equipped with Nissan / Infiniti OEM Brembo Calipers (03-08).

Designed and manufactured to the same high standards as all of our our Two-Piece Rotors, these Two-Piece Brembo rotors weigh 17% less than your OEM rotors as a result of our unique two-piece design. By significantly reducing the rotors’ unsprung mass, the Z comes to life, resulting in noticeably more nimble handling, sharper turn-in, and remarkable response, all while allowing the car to be pushed deeper into the braking zone.

With the ideal of ultimate performance in mind, Z1 Motorsports’ Two-Piece Rotors are rigorously tested on Z1 Motorsports’ own high-powered street and track cars. Competing in everything from Global Time Attack to local track days to aggressive street driving, the rotors have been repeatedly torture tested while keeping these cars highly competitive.

Z1 Motorsports Two-Piece Brembo Rotors feature:

Lightweight Design
Our two-piece design drops weight by 3.5 pounds per FRONT rotor, 2.5 pounds per REAR rotor, 12 pounds total of unsprung mass. Lightweight rotor hats are machined from forged 6061 aluminum blanks, and finished with heat treating and premium black-hard anodizing.

Performance Cooling Geometry
A departure from traditional rotors, Z1 Motorsports’ two-piece configuration also facilitates two modes of cooling. An expanding directional vane cooling tract that is 58% wider than OEM specifications has proven to perform better than straight or pillar style rotors, while the open face design allows for a higher volume of axial air flow.

Precision Manufactured Alloy Irons
Alloy rotor irons are heat-treated and stress relieved to deliver the best performance in all conditions. This process keeps the disc stable at extreme temperatures and minimizes the effects of warping and cracking, resulting in increased rotor life and maximized performance. Held to precise specifications, rotors are dynamically balanced after assembly and precision parallel ground. Available in high performance slotted or drilled & slotted rotor configuration.

Black Electrophoretic Deposition Coating
The rotor is finished off with a tough e-coat (EPD) to keep it from rusting and give it more resistance to breakdown at extreme temperatures. The electronic particle deposition process ensures an even coating of all surfaces and excessive corrosion protection.

Complete Zinc Coated, SAE Graded Hardware
Fastening hardware includes heat-treated M6 slot nuts and quenched and tempered SAE Grade 10.9 bolts, larger fasteners than the majority of our competitors’ 2-piece brake rotor hardware. These heavy-duty fasteners translate to higher proof strength, especially critical in systems as crucial as braking.

For those who want to know the actual weight of these rotors they are: Front: 16lb 14oz (basically 17lbs) Rear: 14lb 15oz (basically 15lbs) (by the way these are the weights for sprinkle slotted, drilled rotors might be a smidge lighter) My front rotors that came off were 22lbs and my rears were 17lbs. So a 23% reduction on the front and an 18% reduction on the rears. Big investment but this is one of those modifications where as soon as you take the car for a drive you can feel the difference. Cutting down the rotating mass makes so much more of a difference than regular sprung weight. I have Z1's lightweight flywheel, crankshaft pulley, and the aluminum 1 piece driveshaft. All of these modifications together transform the car entirely. I would highly recommend these for anyone who is performance orientated (or for whoever just likes the bling factor plus being able to stop on a dime).

This was the single most noticeable upgrade I made to my car amidst over a decade of bolt-on upgrades. The reduced rotating mass really awakens the drive train and the suspension. On top of that, they look fantastic behind my 19" Volk ZE40s. 10 stars and another great product from Z1.

These are amazing, we have 2 years of track days on them with XP10's in front and XP8's on the rears and we drive at a high racing level, they barely have any wear, these rotors have stayed true and all while having been abused. Half the time we don't put the street pads back on after race days and those pads are loud and abrasive when not hot and I would think that would put even more wear on the rotors and the rotors haven't shown any signs of not being able to last another 2 years or more of daily and track day driving, which out performed my expectations in every way. These are impressive and worth every penny. Also they save quite a bit of weight.

These are incredible. Many track days on them. I rail on them with XPS 10s in front 8s in back. This would be one of the first purchases for the 350Z if you are getting one or have one. My set by now should have some serious wear or wobble to them, and they have lasted well beyond my expectations and are true and worth well more than what they sell for. Great product, thanks Z1. I have these along with all the diff/rear subframe/transmission bushings/collars and additional differential capacity and diff brace, it really brings out the true feel of the car out.

They aren't cheap but the weight difference really can be felt both in ride quality and steering feel. I fitted these just days before putting them through their paces at a track day at Anglesey circuit. No fade whatsoever after repeated hard stops even with very basic street biased Pagid pads and the braking performance was incredible. Worth every penny/dollar.
