Product Description
This is a must have upgrade for the Z with an upgraded clutch. This will eliminate the mushy pedal feel, that ALL Z's have after installing high clamping force clutches. The kit works wonders with Dual Disc clutches as well. By eliminating all soft points in your hydraulic system, it adds to pedal response, feel, and gives you a little more adjustability in the pedal height! The Z1 clutch lines also bypass leak points by removing the factory hard line.
Similar in design to the original Z1 Stainless Steel Clutch Line, the new Z1 Motorsports Insulated Clutch Line features a black vinyl coating with an insulated reflective thermal sleeve that not only looks great but also protects your line from rubbing, fraying and radiant heat damage from turbos, exhausts, and other nearby heat sources.

No issues so far, installed a few months ago. It was a easy install. I replaced this, the slave cylinder, and the master cylinder and put in RBF 600 fluid and the clutch feels better than before.

Nice quality SS line for the clutch. Keep your OEM Banjo bolt for the slave cylinder, the included replacement is considerably shorter and less stout. The replacement copper washers are a perfect fit. It would be nice if the banjo bolt end of the hose fitting included the alignment dowel like the OEM line. Otherwise, a nice upgrade overall, no deal breakers here.

If you have an aftermarket clutch in your Z you need this !!! I have a stage 3 action clutch in my 07 350z and the pedal feel with this clutch line is 1000x better than the stock one !!! Super easy install and it made driving my Z even better !!😎

Perfectly wrapped OEM style hydraulic line. Exactly how the stock one is but, with a bit better materials. I personally have this as a spare and use Z1's blue hydraulic upgraded line. It's a nicer upgraded version of this. And it doesn't have the fireproof material on it that dries out over time and becomes ineffective.

My original clutch line on my 2007 G35 Coupe was 13 years old. Whenever it was hot, like in stop and go traffic, the clutch pedal would not come up. Part of this was the original clutch slave cylinder, but the original rubber line was looking very worn. The hardest part of replacing the clutch line was getting the horseshow clip at the top out. I finally pulled it out but before I reinstalled the clip, I flattened it slightly in a vise and filed the inside edges to help it fit around the new line end. There is still plenty of tension from the clip. I'd recommend doing a trial fit of the horseshoe clip on the new line to prevent swearing while trying to install in the limited area available to work. Also, loosely install the bottom of the hose on the slave cylinder before doing the top. It's really much easier that way.

Definitely a 5 star product, although I'd recommend updating the description to one similar to the standard braided line, which includes the bit about this line eliminating the 6" of factory hard line. This line is perfect, and eliminates 1 possible leak point in the factory design.
