Product Description
This machined aluminum adapter fits into the Heater Hose or any 3/4" ID hose in the coolant system. It will accommodate either 1/8" NPT or 1/4" NPT threads of most aftermarket coolant temperature sensors. This adapter can also be used with other NPT threaded fittings to splice coolant feed lines to turbochargers, etc.
Allows you to install a coolant temperature sending unit for an aftermarket gauge or a thermostatatic switch without having to drill and tap your existing metal pipes. This design allows install into a straight section of your heater hose for a perfect fit. Simply cut and trim the hose or replace your factory bleeder port (350Z / G35) or union (370Z / G37) and install this adapter in-line. Your choice of two additional standard worm clamps or spring clamps is available as an option below.
Please note: When installing your temperature sending unit an appropriate thread sealant must be used.

So glad I discovered this small but important piece. This bleeder port saved my 370z. A much needed upgrade from the OEM plastic heater hose connector that eventually cracks and crumbles due to age & heat (like mine did) Also makes life easier when you’re doing coolant changes and needing to bleed the system. A must purchase!

I bought this because my old one gave out and I used a straight 3/4 inch that I got at O'Reilly but I wanted that bleeder valve and to be coolant temperature gauge ready, I'm giving a four-star only because it was leaking from the top but just add a little Teflon tape and I had no more leak

i did a motor swap a bought this too get rid of the oem plastic one. I put coolant into my car and it took about 10 minutes to bleed it. I couldn’t believe how fast my coolant bleed with this. i bleed it once and haven’t had any problems since. 10/10 besides that it’s an Allen wrench but yolo

Installed this along with Z1's heater hoses when I was doing the pathfinder mod and what a difference. This bleeder is much nicer than the stock plastic one, also the hole for the bleeder is much larger and makes bleeding the cooling system a bit easier. Definitely recommended A+

Great replacement and upgrade to the all plastic bleeder port. When the coolant is drained and replaced on the G35, it will take at least three cycles of bleeding the air from the system and if do not use the correct size Phillips screw driver it will strip out the OEM plastic bleeder plug. When cut out the OEM bleeder port, I found it to be very brittle on both ends. That said, I highly recommend replacing the OEM bleeder port with this after market upgrade.

These were VERY handy for setting up coolant feed and return for my turbo set up. The brass fitting is very secure with sealant but if you want to use the 1/4 npt threading for another type of fitting you may have to ream the tapered threads deeper with a tap as my 1/4 npt to -8an fitting only threaded in about halfway. Regardless, great little product!
