The hard anodized aluminum drain plugs are available in three popular sizes to match most Japanese vehicles. do you need to use the copper crush washer? or is the washer that comes with the plug fine by itself?
The washer that comes with the plug should be fine. Make sure that the sealing surface is clean and free of imperfections.

Great for the price and a nice upgrade over OEM. There are loads of options like the NISMO oil drain plug and if I’m not mistaken Z1 makes one too but don’t quote me on that!

I used the OEM crush washer instead of this washer as I had it with my oil change kit. The magnet is extremely strong and I feel confident in this capturing any particulates in my oil.

Awsome product that does its intended job extremely. Very, very powerful magnetic that is absolutely perfect for catching magnetic debris in your oil. Make sure to torque it to spec though. I am currently on my second one, I got 9 oil changes out of my first one, on the 10th it snapped in half. Still an amazing product for its intended purpose, I recommend it highly.

Being such a small part, it makes a huge difference in oil changes. Pulling that plug, not seeing a single particulate of metal magnetized, helps me ensure my engine is running healthy.

Magnetic plugs do 2 things....attract any ferrous metals that are suspended in your motor oil and give you a window to the overall health of your engine. Being proactive is essential with my 15 year old G35.

And extra 10 HP for the logo, only time will tell if the magnet stays in, and how much pollutant it picks up.
It fit the hole though, so 10/10

I haven't gone a whole oil change period with it yet, but as for install, it went in like you would expect. Tight threads, no binding and the magnet is added insurance. Plus it say GReddy... I could feel the 10 HP gain immediately :)

Nice little small package. Great thing to install of after an oil change. Is a bit of a hassle due to it being magnetic; when installing into the oil pan, it’ll stick to anything metal, so it makes hard to nail inside that small little drain hole. But either way I’m satisfied with the purchase and install.
