Product Description

Tried and proven remedy for noisy ticking hydraulic valve lifters.

Drain all the oil out of your engine, pour in this gallon of flush that is also a lubricant.  Run the car at idle (no driving under load) for a 5-10 minutes.  Most of the time it will free up any sticking gummed up hydraulic lifters that are making the annoying ticking sound often heard in higher milage VG30DE(TT) engines.  We've had a very good success rate with this product eliminating the common "lifter tick" problem, better than anything else we've tried.  It's a worthwhile alternative to spending an enormous amount of money actually replacing the lifters with new ones. 

The one-gallon engine flush that gives consumers a greater oil change.  Safely removes old oil and other harmful deposits from throughout the engine.  Prepares oil for a Fresh Start™,  allowing oil to do its best job increasing performance and engine life.  Clean oil works best in a clean engine™.

Did not sound any quieter or see any actual chunks of carbon build up but I also do my oil changes as soon as I see the oil get dirty. When I poured it, it goes in clear but after draining it, it did come out very very dark so it did clean up a bit that regular oil changes won’t do. So I’d say get this with the idea of maintaining your car and not to expect an outcome or to fix something necessarily.

Used twice now between oil changes. Goes in clear and comes out dark. Definitely seems to be helping to clean my 130k mile motor. The lifter tapping is happening less and less.

Great product! Ran this for 10 minutes and did an oil change. Upon removal of the intake manifold (VQ35DE) for upgrades my valves were clean! Not sure if this was from the flush or fuel additives I’ve always used but it def doesn’t hurt to try.

OMG! This is a must for all g35 with ticking noise. My car made this noise since I bought it used 6 years ago. Very annoying I got ask twice if my car was diesel and other people comment about the same noise. Dealer told me the car has a slight ticking noise and they would have to diagnose the engine timing and it will be expensive. I felt hopeless and was preparing for the engine to die. I ran this flush 10min filled up with castrol full synthetic the was still noticeable the first 2 miles of driving. Then next day engine was quiet all I could hear was the fan noise and hesitation of the line was gone. This flush definitely works! Wish I new 6 years and 70,000 miles ago.

Well, I hate to be the odd man out, but I have a 1993 300zx NA and this did not stop my lifter tick. In fact, I notice no improvement whatsoever in my sound. Looks like my next step is tear-down and replacement of a few lifters. I ran it fifteen minutes with a new napa filter, no noticeable difference in engine sound. Let it cool fifteen minutes then ran it another ten minutes still not hearing any difference. When I drained it, it was slightly discolored gray. I had put in Mobil 5w-30 synth oil before and after I ran this, replacing 1 quart with Marvel Mystery Oil. It actually helped a slight bit with the noise but still very present, the Mystery Oil. I cant say for sure this works or not, so I gave it a three rating, but it failed to change anything for me unfortunately.

I started to have the lifter tick and had it for months wherein I tried different oil viscosities to no avail till one day, I heard about this product from a fellow 300ZX owner so I asked other owners about it, read reviews and the description of the product. It didn't take too long for me to decide to just try it out and see if it really works or not and after doing the engine flush, it was one of the best things you can do to your Z maintenance wise. I did the flush and put new oil in and the engine started to sound smooth and flawless again.

In just had another engine put in my 2005 g35 m/t. A couple months after I started hearing a tap and started getting paranoid after my first one get a knock. I parked it and started looking into rebuilding it. Started looking around and found this. Decided hey its cheap, I have nothing to lose, so I have it a shot. As soon I poured it in and turned on the car it was immediate silence. My engine was quieter than my original engine. I was amazed. And not only that but I was also amazed at all the gunk that came out. The previous owner of this engine must not have taken care of it will because it came out dirtier and blacker than the oil I had JUST drained. I definitely recommend this. Don't wait til you start hearing a lifter noise or tapping. Just do et.

My Z had been sitting for a few months when I went out to start it I noticed that there was a tick so I rushed on here to Z1 and ordered this. It worked great! The tick disappeared and hasn't come back. It has been about 11 months since I used it. * I would recommend that you order 2 Nissan oil filters at the same time you order this. Drain the oil replace the filter with new, add the Xtreme Clean Engine flush run the car for the required amount of time. Once again drain oil, replace filter, and add you preference oil and enjoy the quietness.

OMG, this works! I had the noisy lifter problem in my high mileage 300zxTT for about 9 months. It was driving me so crazy that I was working out the cost of a new engine. I tried all kinds of other solutions and as a very last resort I tried this. In the 10 minutes it was running through the engine I heard that damn noise dying a slow death. It went from tick-tick-tick-tick to tick-tick...tick, to tick...tick, to nothing! I will say that it's not perfect yet. Every now and then I get a couple of ticks when I start up the engine but it goes away the minute the pressure gets up. But it is light years better than it was before. I'm anxious to try it again on my next oil change.

this flush works! other engine oil flushes might clean your engine of gunks but it leaves the gunk in their to clog up other parts of the engine. very dangerous. its more trustworthy because all other flushes are only a small can or a quart, but this flush says to pour the entire gallon into the engine. after i used it. got rid of the lifter tick, and my accelerator pedal got smoother. used to hesitate off the line but smooth starts and accelerator pedal feels like its a new car.
