Upgrading components in the exhaust system other than the mufflers such as midpipes and y-pipes hae a great effect on a car's exhaust flow characteristics. All Tanabe exhaust components are made from SUS304 stainless steel for maximum durability as well as weight savings.

The Tanabe y-pipe replaces the factory y-pipe on the new 2016+ Infiniti Q50 and Q60 with a high efficiency pipe for maximum exhaust velocity.

High Grade SUS304 Construction

Tanabe was one of the first Japanese aftermarket companies to create full SUS304 stainless steel exhaust systems many years ago. The highest grade SUS304 stainless is used on all exhaust system components for maximum durability.

Flex Piping

There are many solid pipe kits available, but these tend to shear or crack with time due to engine torque twisting and pulling on the heated exhaust system that is bolted to the car. Our components use a flex pipe on required appications, ensuring maximum durability and lifespan.
