Product Description
This Refurbished OEM Panasonic Headlight Ballast is the very same unit used from the factory on all HID equipped 2005+ Nissan and Infiniti models.
The headlight ballast found on all HID equipped models is responsible for converting DC to AC current, and regulates current output to the HID bulb through the attached ignitor. Because these are mounted to the bottom of the headlamp assembly, they are susceptible to wear from water, foreign object damage, and stress from constant operation. When they ballasts or attached ignitors fail, the headlamps may operate dim, flicker, or fail to function at all.
1-Year Warranty.
Refurbished OEM ballasts do not include replacement headlight o-rings. These will be reused from your existing ballasts or purchased new.
NOTE: This ballast is the most current model offered by Panasonic and used by Nissan on all 2011+ Z and G models. While it may vary in design visually, the function and fit is the same on all 2005+ headlights. These ballasts offer greater reliability and offer a faster start up times than the earlier model factory equipped Panasonic/Matsushita headlight ballasts.

The bulb-to-ballast wire that comes with this is way too short, it's about a 3rd of the length of the OEM wire. You can get away with reusing the old wire because it's usually just the ballast that goes bad, but the OEM hold down for it doesn't line up with this aftermarket one. It'd just be nice if a proper length wire was included. Other than that, it does its job and works perfectly.

Notice for 05-06 G35 - Purchased new bulb but went out/flickered after 3 days, looked up & realized I probably needed a new ballast & I wanted OEM model so I bought & installed myself on my 2005 G35x. It worked perfectly for my car but did run into an issue. The igniter cord was too small to make it to the bulb... Since only the ballast was bad, I reused original old long igniter and connected to new ballast, screwed in and covered exposed middle hole on ballast with duct tape, worked perfectly! So keep in mind cord will NOT make it on a 05-06 G35 headlight unit design.
