Product Description

A fuel pulsation damper (sometimes referred to as an FPD) is a device used to regulate the oscillation of fuel caused by the injectors opening and closing. This pulsation creates a 'ripple' effect that disrupts adequate flow to the fuel injectors and result in loss of power across the RPM range. This damper uses an internal spring and diaphragm to absorb oscillations and smooth fuel rail pressure to maintain a consistent fuel flow to the injectors. 

This FPD is located on the FUEL RAIL. Two required, one per side fuel rail.

  • 2007-2008 Infiniti G35 (V36) VQ35HR
  • 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 (V36/CV36) VQ37VHR
  • 2014-2015 Infiniti Q60 (CV36) VQ37VHR
  • 2011-2018 Infiniti M37 / Q70 (Y51) VQ37VHR
  • 2012-2018 Infiniti Q70 Hybrid (Y51HV) VQ35HR

 

NOTE: These OEM FPD's are used in all CJ Motorsports fuel rails including VQ35DE applications. Customers looking for FPD's for OEM VQ35DE fuel rails can find them HERE.

FPD mount plate and hardware not included.

Only needed to replace one that was going bad (ticking) but went ahead and replaced both on the rails anyways. Ticking went away and now i can peacefully hear my injectors LOUD CHATTER.
