This is the bushing that secures the hood prop to the core support. Normally these deteriorate causing the hood prop to be loose when clamped or to fall through the core support while attempting to prop the hood.

Replacing my old and broken bushing with this new bushing did a great job of removing any freeplay I had in my hood prop rod.

OEM part, but works great to replace broken or missing bushings to prevent hood rod rattling. Installation advice - put the bushing in first, and then push the rod through and rotate it to the correct position.
