New, OEM Nissan Rear Main Seal and Retainer Plate for all VQ35DE equipped Infiniti G35 and 350Z models.

The rear main is one of the most dreaded oil leaks on any vehicle and the G35 and 350Z is no exception.

Please note: This Rear Main Seal and Retainer will not fit the VQ35HR engine found in the '07+ 350Z. 

There is also an OEM seal kit asscoiate with his retainer to the upper oil pan found HERE.

Original Nissan part. Should have no leaks. Just be aware that this is NOT designed to be replaced without also dropping the upper oil pan. The lower seal (between the oil pan and this main seal body) must be compressed into place (vertically) but the crankshaft end and oil seal do not allow much vertical movement. In a pinch, you can gamble by just removing the two steel dowels and trying to get this in place without damaging or inverting the oil seal, or displacing the tension spring, then reinstalling the dowels and bolts. But the proper way to install this is to drop the oil pan, replace this main seal assy, then reinstall the oil pan.
