Z1's Steering Wheel Spacer is installed between your aftermarket steering wheel and hub, bringing the steering wheel closer to the driver. The total height of the spacer is 43mm, the same as Z1's Quick Release. We find that this height offers the most neutral position for most drivers and leaves enough room to keep your hands from hitting the turn signal and wiper stalk while driving, but without putting the wheel too close to your chest. Like our hub adapter and quick release, the flange is machined to accept both common wheel bolt patterns, 6x70mm and 6x74mm.
