Product Description
This is the European R200 differential housing assembly with viscous LSD and 3.69 gear used in the Euro-Spec model 370Z's. The Euro-spec differential uses a large jack point on the center of the case, and has large finned heat sinks (much like the Z1 Differential Cover) on the case to help shed excess heat. Because this differential is factory equipment it is ideal for Spec-Z racers, or teams competing in a class that requires factory equipment is used. Great when used with heat producing aftermarket LSD's!
This differential will fit various models, but it should be noted that it includes early style 370Z threaded stub axles, so the included stub axles MAY NOT work with your application and your existing stub axles may need to be reused.

Great assembly. The entire lower half of the carrier assembly has large fins and a large dowel like jack point. It's really an impressive unit to see brand new. The Z1 High capacity cover matches up so well to the carriers fin design. It is slightly bigger and more awkwardly shaped, it has to be 5 pounds heavier at least. It did come pre filled with a strange orange yellow gear oil and there was some metal on the drain plug magnet so it had to be run in to some degree by Nissan. The fluid is thin but I opted to reuse it for the initial break in after I swapped covers. The only thing it does not come with is the vent tube for the cover itself, it has a rubber plug since its filled with oil.
