Product Description
This is a New Lower Ball Joint for your Nissan 350Z or Infiniti G35. The ball joints in your knuckle are the only parts that wear but Nissan does not offer it separately, so replacing the entire upright when the ball joint fails seems silly. Why not replace just the ball joint? Now you can with this OEM Quality replacement part. Includes Tapered Seat.
NOTE: These ball joints are designed for OE style fitment, there are different tapers and depth for the "early" and "late" style conical seat connection to the lower control arm. While most of the aftermarket gets this wrong on both ball joint and lower control arm leading to premature failure and the destruction of the lower control arm, Z1 has worked hard to ensure these factory fit parts are of great quality and the correct fit.
Due to differences in year, the part you receive may differ from the picture to the right.
Professional installation is recommended.

The only place I could find 06 350z balljoints, boots aren't exactly the same as the stock ones but shouldn't cause any issues, I haven't driven far with them but they atleast fit. (note make sure you take the boot off before pressing in, you will also need a grease gun as they come dry)

The dealership wont sell ball joints separately, so gave these a shot. This is by far the better option. One note, I own a 2003 350Z, these ball joints come unlubed and with a zirc fitting. You will need a grease gun if doing the job yourself.

I gave 4 stars because the boot goes all the way to the outer edge of the ball joint which makes pressing it in almost impossible without tearing the boot. I had to remove the boot to press them in then reinstall the boot. Other than that it’s a great quality replacement. Not sure if the boot issue is specific to year and model but I have an 07 G35 coupe.

My ‘07 G35 coupe has close to 150k miles on the stock suspension and after replacing the ball joints with these quality components the difference is night and day! The handling is much tighter and it reminds me of how the car used to feel, thanks Z1!

Bought these for my v35, put the year in and everything when buying the ball joints. the shaft was 3mm shorter than my old one, I couldn’t get the split pin in the new ball joints. Not sure if japanese models differ from us models but otherwise, good quality ball joints.

This ball WILL work on the 06 model of the G35. I am unsure about the 05 model but I installed it on my 06 and my baby rides like new again! I have no idea how I drove on ball joints that were destroyed for so long! This is a much cheaper alternative to buying the whole arm (the dealership tried telling me there were ZERO other options aside from buying the whole arm).
*** It should be noted that there is a small conical shaped "shim" that must be reused off the old ball joint. This was my first time doing ball joints (on this car and ever) and I did not realize that the little cone "shim" was to be reused. ***
