AMS Adjustable Short Throw Shifter for the '09+ 370Z.
The AMS Adjustable short shifter is easy to install and is manufactured to OEM specs and tolerances to allow for smooth and easy operation. The shifter is designed with four adjustable positions that shorten or lengthen the travel distance between shifts and can be adjusted with ease to suit the driver.
To aid in engagement of the Reverse Gear, Z1 recommends adding some kind of lubricant (i.e, assembly lubricant, etc) to the inner perimeter of the shifter bracket.

how do you adjust this shifter
Once installed in the vehicle you simply grab hold of the center black lock collar and lift it up while then raising or lowering the shifter knob position then push the lock collar back down. This can be done with the shift boot in place and the shift knob installed.

Gave it a 3 because it’s awesome for the adjustability but still a 3 because it rattles horribly especially with the solid shifter bracket bushings

Super easy install. It’s definitely at the height I wanted. My only complaint, the new shifter is VERY wobbly without any load on it. Even in gear it has too much play. Once you’re driving it’s fine and perfectly notchy. My theory is because they use O-rings for the bushings instead of a hard plastic like OEM

This shifter feels great and it can be adjusted on the fly by grabbing the adjuster through the boot. Fantastic to have the ability to drive with a long shift pattern while daily driving and a short throw pattern when at the track.
