Product Description
The Z1 Rear Differential Brace provides additional support for the rear differential in your Nissan 370Z or Infiniti G37, preventing drivetrain damage and wear during spirited driving.
Your 370Z / G37's rear differential is mounted to the subframe using a single offset mounting stud in the differential cover. Factory differential bushing and mounting stud are prone to fail, and these issues are exacerbated on modified cars that are frequently abused or launched. In more extreme cases we have seen cars either break the factory differential cover or break the mounting stud. When failure occurs, the differential separates from the subframe, breaking inner axle joints and damaging your exhaust. To prevent this failure, we have developed the strongest differential brace yet. By utilizing cast 304 stainless steel, we were able to manufacture a brace without the possibility of failure from welds or joints. The Z1 Differential Brace utilizes a pre-existing hole in the rear subframe to provide additional support. The additional support reduces strain on the differential cover and stud while simultaneously aiding in the reduction of wheel hop and driveline slop.
Our differential brace was designed to work specifically with the Z1 High Capacity Differential Cover, however, it is still compatible with the Nismo and factory differential cover!

Completely got rid of wheel hop I had and my 6mt shifts smoother, my diff bushing was blown but it feels much better now until I fix the bushing

This is a great upgrade. It helps improve the driveline slop and for 6MT this makes shifting more crisp. Very cost effective. Install was pretty easy, too.

This brace is super easy to install. I still have the stock bushings and this brace will reduce the load on the diff bushing. Launches and gear changes are crisp.

For those with HKS Hi-Power catback exhausts wondering if this will fit- it does, but it kisses the exhaust. Around 1-2 mm of clearance and will barely touch on occasion and make a small rattle.
Install was extremely painless and quick, takes 15 minutes with a lift. Definitely made an improvement with a popped differential bushing.

If you have the Z1 diff cover this is the best! I have my diff as a jackpoint again! On top of that I have a custom Titanium exhaust, the Bellracing would not clear. This being designed specifically for the Z1 diff cover it fits in the grooves perfectly. Highly recommend.

Good fitment, easy to install. I'm using the OEM diff cover and fits great. Added benefit which I noticed afger installing is the diff jacking point now lower makes it so much easier to jack up without my exhaust interfering.
Overall great product in my opinion

SImple and straight foward upgrade. Getting the top bolt that goes into the subframe tightened is the hardest/most annoying part of this install, after that its as simple as tightening down the other 2 bolts and torqueing to spec.
As far as difference, for me personally it was a very minimal difference i noticed. The car felt somewhat firmer in a tiny way. The concept and idea is nice to add more rigidity to the car without having to commit with major work.

Solid peice literally. This has been on for about 10000 miles, I immediately noticed that the rear wheels felt that they could directly more force into the ground. It almost has an effect of stiffer mounts. It also will take some of the pounding off the crappy rear differential bushing although it still will move some.

I had a bell raceworks brace prior so I didnt notice a change in stiffness, but I could no longer jack up the rear with full contact to the diff housing between the soul function brace and the z1 diff cover fins. The jacking point is a massive win, and I really appreciate this design feature.

I was not sure what to expect post installation of this product. So, there was no placebo effect. However, the car does feel different. It pulls harder, since more power is going directly to the tires as opposed to causing excessive movement of the rear differential. FYI, the rear differential bushings were replaced with the Z1 polyurethane bushings as well. Plus, I installed the Z1 subframe collar inserts to ensure the least amount of movement from the rear subframe. Those products were installed about 2 years BEFORE this part was installed, for brevity.

After installation could verify that my wheel hop has been almost eliminated. Slight bit of droning noise from rear at certain rpm ranges but exactly what I wanted. The product is solid and was super easy to install. Would highly recommend this product!!

Not too difficult of an install. The cross member bolt is a pain. Took me in total 33 mins to install. Most definitely tighten up the rear end of the car.

Small part that makes a noticeable difference. Easy to install. No additional NVH on my car. Stock exhaust/ sound system etc. Shifter feels more precise and less slop in the drivetrain between shifts or when puttering around in 1st or 2nd gear.

This is just like all the other reviewers said, an extremely well-engineered piece of suspension equipment. This rear diff brace is not only esthetically good looking, but you can also feel the quality construction, through its weight & finished edges. It was pretty straight forward to install & all the holes line up perfectly, and once you install it you can clearly understand how it dramatically improves & protects your rear diff. It's also nice to know that you can use it as an additional safe jacking point if need be. Definitely a must have for rear differential protection!!

The rear brace works great, direct bolt on and easy to install. My differential bushing was leaking prior and now after about a month or so of use my diff bushing isn’t leaking hardly at all and helping protect what’s left of the bushing along with a little stiffer suspension and power transfer at take off. Definitely would recommend!

Very easy and smooth install. It only took around 30 minutes for 1 person with pretty basic mechanical experience. Looks and feels quality. Glad Z1 made this product as it wouldn't be a fun day if the factory diff mounting failed on the track. I appreciate they made this work with or without their Z1 Diff cover upgrade.

A royal pain in the ass to install if you have gorilla hands like me, but it definitely performs as advertised. The driveline feels much stiffer and power delivery is better on the low end. I would say there is a noticeable reduction in torque drop off in first gear especially.

Excellent product for the following reasons:
Sturdy construction.
Stainless steel construction.
Perfect fit fir Z1 diff cover.
Ease of install. Nothing is complicated. The nut that sits in subframe is precisely machined. The only tricky part is getting the nut in its spot and the brace bolt threaded, but not enough to say that install wasn't simple. Just a box end wrench and ratchet & socket to complete.
