Product Description
Z1's full differential kit includes everything you need to upgrade and update your rear driveline. If you are going to remove the differential it only makes sense to do it once.
With the Z1 kit you have new differential bushings, a High Capacity Z1 Differential Cover, and the best oil on the market. We even include a tube of ultra gray so that you have everything but the tools to complete the job.
When the stock rear differential bushing fails you start to experiance wheel hop under hard acceleration. This also puts excessive strain on the driveshaft U-Joints, and axle shafts. By upgrading to the urethane bushings you stiffen up the rear end to handle harder launches and smoother shifts. Plus with the upgraded fluid you don't have to worry about oil breakdown at higher temperatures.
Don't skimp out; do the entire kit with Z1.
*This kit can not be used on G35 models equipped with 4 Wheel Steering.

- 3 Liters of Red Line or Motul 75w90 or Motul 75w140 Differential Fluid

Diff cover fit perfectly. Mounts as well. The old rear mount is a pain to remove. I highly recommend Z1's removal tool. I went with the solid mounts and have no regrets. Car feels great.

Whatever you do, don't go with the Whiteline bushings. They're complete crap. The one bushing was torn and twisted within 1 year of installing it. ANY of the other bushings would be much better. Replaced mine with solid after the whiteline went.

This has helped keep the stock limited slip working for longer than I planned on it with the amount of track days we do. Helps keep the heat down dramatically. Extremely nice kit, excited to have it on now and when we upgrade to the Z1 differential here in the spring. Another important upgrade to the Z that is overlooked by many. Grab this.

Nice kit to spruce up the rear diff. Had to do my diff mount bearing which sucks but got it done. Did everything at once while it was out from under car. The aluminum cover kinda oxides alittle after some time. Still looks good but not as fresh as it did when I first installed it. Gotta be alittle careful jacking the car up from the rear be sure to slide the jack in past the cover or you mite breaks some fins off.

4/5 stars, only because it was dirty with metal chips and had burrs on the case. I took them off so it wasn't a big issue. But something for Z1 to look at. I purchased this with the solid diff bushings, and they are machined very well. Haven't installed yet until i get more things. But very satisfied.

I recently purchased a used Nismo Z that came with some really soft Energy suspension diff bushings.
I thought of just swapping them for the Z1, but I figured might as well do a complete diff overhaul.
Boy, am I happy now! First of, the cover is such a bespoke part, it makes the stock diff cover look so primitive.
Bushing are awesome (PITA to get the old ones out but that's a normal evil Z thing) and I can feel the difference down to the shifter.
The car feels tighter and I'm sure it's going to show once I hit the track.
I'd say this kit is a must have for 350Z/G35 owners.

Everything fit on my 2006 350z except for the Rear Diff Bushing. Transmission guy said that front bushings fit fine, but that the rear diff provided in this kit was a different size than my stock one and would not work. Everything else worked out fine though. Kit probably works fine on previous year Z's fine though. Oh well, still happy with my new transmission setup and new 1.5 Way LSD installed.
