Product Description
Z1 Motorsports Stainless Steel Brake lines fit all 2009+ Nissan 370Z and 2008+ G37 models, including models with Akebono and base brakes.
These stainless steel brake lines will both improve the pedal feel of your 370Z / G37 and help improve braking performance compared to the soft stock rubber lines. The braided stainless steel lines provide structure and protection to the inner, Teflon coated lines while the black abrasion resistant PVC coating on the outside prevents the lines from getting frayed or worn as a result of rubbing against suspension members or the frame rails. Unlike raw stainless steel brake lines, PVC coated stainless steel lines not only protect themselves, but also protect anything they come in contact with. If you've ever been pricked by a fraying stainless steel line, you understand what we mean.
The kit includes all necessary hardware for installation for both Akebono and base brake models. Will fit with the Z1 Akebono Big Brake Kit upgrade! We also offer a factory fit style Premium lines.
Our brake lines are track tested and up to the task for daily driving, occasional abuse, or dedicated track use!

These brake lines do not fit a G37 properly. No matter what you do they will rub your wheel at some point. Buy the more expensive set here as they have the correct blocks and such to keep the line safe. Z1 should stop selling these hoses.

Great upgrade for the OEM brake lines but I think the line for the front brake needs to be a bit shorter in case and to prevent them from rubbing with the rims.

Switched to Akebono brake with Z1 two-piece piece rotors and worked fine. Brake pedal feels better with braided lines. Recommended

These are very easy to install, they were install on my 2015 q60/g37 AWD. They fit perfect! I do have the q60 with g37 body style before they changed to the newer body. But awesome brake lines! Would recommend 💯

While the lines do as they should, the plastic coating has been cut into sliding in the guides and it gets stuck. I will get the better version when I upgrade to the 2 piece rotors.

Great brake lines use guidance when installing these when routing the lines as they shift when braking under load. My tech didn't do this and while bedding them in after 5 runs at high speeds they held up only to burst when the car was parked up. These are built strong and meant to take abuse saved my ass great product def buying again to replace the poorly installed ones

I am very satisfied with the product, the quality seems very good at the moment, I hope the winter will not do too much damage to the SS connections. Very simple installation on a 2017 QX50 with a complete brake update for AKEBONOs, same brake mechanism as a 2013 G37 Sport. Now I have a QX50S! :-) Works great.

Haven't had issues with lines getting stuck inside the carriers and the outside layer coming off like other top brand SS lines I've tried.

I purchased these as an upgrade while changing brake fluid, rotors, and pads. They have held up so far after a track day and spirited driving. Everything in the kit appears to be high quality. As advertised, there were no wire ends sticking out anywhere. Installation on a 40th AE (Sport brake calipers) was not difficult. The rear lines are the simplest to install, as they only mount at the two ends.
The reason this gets 4 stars and not 5 is because it is not possible to exactly follow the factory routing in the front. Looking at the Z1 "premium" lines, you can see that there is a brass block with a 90-deg bend in the middle of each front line. The bend in that connection is necessary to maintain best practices in routing the lines. Installation was made more challenging by the fact that the front lines in the kit can be swapped left-to-right, and the mounting brackets have a direction to the way they are crimped. It took a while to try all possible combinations before settling on the best compromise. I did contact Z1 for support, but their only advice was to follow the factory layout. It would be great to see some example images come with the kit.
Rather than repurchasing these, next time I would get the Z1 Premium stainless steel brake lines.

Great item as well. The front one need the 3 washers instead of two. Otherwise it touch the axle. That's why I wasn't able to install them but other than that good.

A must have for any 370Z or G37 that sees the track. Be sure to combine these with high temp fluid and better brake pads. I have run Motul RBF600 on the track for years. 2 track days with these brake lines and a solid brake pedal all day long.
