One of the less well-known differences on a VQ35DE Rev-Up is the inclusion of an oil temperature sensor. While these temps may not be displayed in car, this data is still monitered by the ECU and is important to maintain normal operation. Like many sub-harnesses on the VQ, these will break down over time and can lead to loss of data, or inconsistent transmission of data. In some cases, these plugs may be damaged from engine installation and removal.
