I like the shirt a lot and the material is very comfortable. However, it is it bit snug. I wear a large normally, and other brands fit me well in that size, even in “athletic “ fit. A similar thing happened to me when I bought a large from another company and it fit snug, I returned it and got an XL, but that was too big. Sooo, I guess I need to lose a few pounds and all will be well. BTW, I am 5’9”, 195 lbs and and athletic build but still kind of thick (I am 51 years old). If you have broad shoulders and a narrow waste (like 36” or less) I think this will fit you well.
