It is recommended to replace these bolts whenever servicing the torque converter. Most models have a quantity of 4 while others have 6. Check your Factory Service Manual (FSM) before purchasing.

During a recent engine replacement, the shop that did the work used bolts and lock washers from the hardware store on my torque converter without informing me. Within a month it developed a horrible rattle. Concerned the engine was bad, i took it to the local dealer who found the problem very quickly. All but 1 bolts had backed out and one was missing completely. Unfortunately the dealer can only get the factory bolts WITH the torque converter. On a hunch i contacted Z1. They had then in stock and received them 2 days later. Awesome service from an awesome company. Thanks Z1
