The Z1 Motorsports OEM Replacement Battery Harness fits all Left Hand Drive '90+ Nissan 300ZX models. Over time, corrosion resulting from the venting process of traditional lead acid batteries degrades the harness, causing grounding and starting issues. Because the factory cable is discontinued through Nissan, all OEM replacement options have diminished, leaving a necessity for a quality aftermarket replacement piece.
The Z1 Battery Harness is designed to replicate the factory harness, using the same 2 gauge insulated cable, pre-formed terminal boots, cable bracket boots, and wire insulation. In addition, the harness has been wrapped with corrosion resistant high temperature self-fusing silicone tape to further protect the harness from radiant heat (up to 500°F) and venting acids. The chassis ground located on the firewall behind the battery has been inverted to prevent possible damage to paint and weatherstripping. (Pictured to the right) Because this cable was designed to match the OEM harness, fitment is perfect and looks great on stock or modified 300ZX's.
