Replace your VQ37's tired ignition coils with a set of 6 new Z1 High-Energy Ignition Coils!
Z1 ignition coils are direct fit replacements of OE coils that produce more spark energy under all operating conditions. This increase in spark energy is critical for ensuring proper ignition and combustion, particularly while operating an engine at wide open throttle. Greater spark energy is especially important in forced induction applications where high boost pressure can blow out spark, resulting in loss of power and poor running conditions.

Don't forget the spark plugs!
- Genuine OEM VQ37 Spark Plugs - The plug of choice for stock or bolt-on naturally-aspirated engines.
- Genuine OEM R35 Spark Plugs - Z1 uses this plug on high compression and forced induction builds because of the proper gap and appropriate heat range. These are an 8 heat range and are pre-gapped at .028" which is perfect for highly modified VHR engines. This is, by far, the most versatile and economical option for full bolt-on and tuned applications.
- HKS Super Fire Racing Spark Plugs - An excellent option for highly modified engines. These plugs are available in three different heat ranges:
- Heat Range 8 (Stock) - This spark plug is comparable to the OEM R35 Spark Plugs and is great for highly modified VHR engines.
- Heat Range 9 (1-Step Colder) - We like this spark plug for forced induction applications producing 550+ whp, or for use with E85.
- Heat Range 10 (2-Steps Colder) - This plug is suitable for 10 max boost racing applications on race gas or ethanol blends, or builds with 2 power adders like boost and nitrous.

Great product, so the Z I purchased had a lot of miles and was looking into getting some issues sorted out, this was on my wishlist and purchased it and swapped them out with these and the car responds way better, all I can say it’s more responsive than having really old coils. I have a 2008 G37S coupe with around 170k miles and I cannot believe how much these coil packs have restored power to my car. It’s way more responsive and just much more strong throughout the entire rev range. I highly recommend these.

Misfire issues on 09 G37 convertible with no codes showing. Tried replacing plugs, no good. Replaced coils with Z1 high energy coils, problem fixed , plus better performance. Highly recommend these coils.

Direct replacement fit. Recommend new spark plugs when installing so that you only have to remove your throttle bodies once (VQ37VHR).

I didn't need to buy the Z1 high-energy ignition coils, but after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to buy a set of 6 and replace the originals (OEM) with the Z1, and....Whaaauuu... you can immediately notice the difference. My 370z has now much better response and acceleration. The Z1 high-energy ignition coils not only work much better than I expected, they also have a stunning finish. I recommend everyone who has a Z car to buy this product because without a doubt they will love it.

installation was simple enough and good replacement for factory coil packs. Got a check engine light and got the 302 code i think it was, for a bad coil pack. I removed the throttle bodies and some lines to the intake manifold to clear a path the ignition coils.

I haven't noticed a big difference in performance since my setup is NA, but a big detail I noticed was in the rigidity of the boot and quality of its seal with the valve cover and ceramic insulator of the plug. I've been running original coils for about 190k, and both the original boots/generic $7 boot/spring/fuse kits from retail auto part stores have a lot more bend to them. I have experienced loss-of-spark missfires in the past from boots that are wobbly and/or are in bad condition. These being more affordable than OEM is a plus.

Purchase was well worth it. I’ve owned Okada plasma coils and I definitely regret buying them. The coils not only didn’t last a year but also had a horrible customer service experience. I was denied of my 1 year warranty. Don’t buy Okada coils! Z1 coils have the same performance as the plasma coils from Okada. You can feel the difference coming from OEM.

I bought a set and I notice a huge difference, my engine is alive and woken up. I highly suggest you replace these if you replacing your valve cover and spark plug gaskets.

My 370Z has 117,000 miles
Changed my plugs at 60,000
But keep my OE Coils
At 110,000 started to see RPM gauge stumble at cold starts and my exhaust had a different tone to it
At 115,000 the car started to feel strange at coming to stops
Finally changed my old worn out coil packs to the Z1 packs at 117,000 and what a difference my car is back to sounding and driving as it was when I got it new
Never knew how worn out coil packs can get and how much power loss I was experiencing but these coil packs did not disappoint
After the initial start up and test drive my car feels like a new ride once again LOVING THE DRIVE ONCE AGAIN !!!

Bought a 370z with 75k miles on it and figured I'd change out all the parts that could have something go wrong in the near future. The spark plugs were super clean coming out so it gave me a good feeling nothing was wrong with OEM Coils or the spark plugs that were in the car. But once these went in felt the instant gains. almost done switching all my bolt on's that i'm wanting then off to the Dyno!

Bought this as my last resort…. I had a weak idle car would stutter at stops. My car was running rich and was very hesitant. The thing that did not helped me was that there was no service engine light so I couldn’t read any codes. I had already changed spark plugs and fuel pump before getting this . After installing this my car woke up once again !! I love It got my car back
