Nissan 350Z / G35 Pedal Stopper Kit includes all six-pedal stoppers found on your Z or G. The factory bushings are made from a hard plastic-like material that becomes brittle over time and breaks apart, leaving bits of broken material all over your floor mat as they fail.
These bushings play an important role in the operations of your car. They act as a pressure surface for the many pedal switches, including the brake light switch, cruise control cancellation switches, and clutch safety switch. When they break apart, the associated switch is no longer pressed when the pedal is at the appropriate position, preventing cruise control from working, leaving your brake lights on when the pedal isn't pressed, and in some cases keeping your car from starting. Z1's pedal stopper bushing is made from a softer urethane, making it more durable and resistant to high temperatures, age, and abuse.
