Nissan R32 Skyline Pedal Stopper Bushing can be found under the driver's side dashboard on both the clutch and brake pedal assemblies. The factory bushing is made from a hard plastic-like material that becomes brittle over time and breaks apart, leaving bits of broken material all over your floor mat.
This bushing is the pressure surface for the cruise control cancellation, clutch safety switch, and brake light switch. When they break apart, the associated switch is no longer pressed when the pedal is at the appropriate position, preventing cruise control from working, leaving your brake lights on when the pedal isn't pressed, and in some cases keeping your car from starting. Z1's pedal stopper bushing is made from a softer urethane, making it more durable and resistant to high temperatures, age, and abuse.
