Nissan 350Z Brake Pedal Stopper Bushing fits all '03-'08 models and is installed behind the accelerator pedal. The factory bushing is made from a hard plastic-like material that becomes brittle over time and breaks apart, leaving bits of broken material all over your floor mat.
This bushing is the pressure surface for the brake light switch and cruise control cancellation switch. When they break apart, the associated switch is no longer pressed when the pedal is at the resting position, preventing cruise control from working or leaving your brake lights on when the pedal isn't pressed, draining your car's battery. Z1's pedal stopper bushing is made from a softer urethane, making it more durable and resistant to high temperatures, age, and abuse.
