Product Description
Similar to the factory Nissan and Infiniti Sport/Performance model brake calipers, Z1's Street brake calipers are an easy bolt-on solution that provides a substantial increase in braking potential over factory base model brakes. These calipers feature fully forged aluminum bodies, making them more durable and rigid than their cast aluminum counterparts. Each caliper is anodized prior to powdercoat, increasing finish durability and providing enhanced protection against surface oxidation. Calipers are available in your choice of Black, Yellow, or Red and feature an engraved Z1 logo painted in a high-contrast color.

Really well made calipers. At first they looked massive and had concerns that they wouldn’t fit the inside my rims since I’m using 3 piece 20”. But sure enough they fit and look bad a**

If you are wondering whether to go with these or some re-manufactured calipers elsewhere, save yourself the trouble and just buy these.
I made the mistake of buying another brand's set of calipers that were re-manufactured from another vendor, did the full install and thought I was good to go. Boy was I wrong. That night all of my bleeder valves started to leak, even though they were torqued to FSM spec and one of the calipers had a fatal defect. I asked for a refund and bought these instead.
The fit and finish of these are head and shoulders above the previous ones I had. The seams, powder coating, threads, valves, just about everything is substantially elevated in quality.
If you are upgrading your base model's brakes to monoblock or having the replace your Akebono's for some reason, there is no other option than these in my book.

These are an excellent replacement for the factory Akebono brakes. Direct fit, no issues with installation. Bleeding is easy and the paint quaity is exceptional.
