Product Description

ONE PAIR of Variable Timing Control (VTC) Gear Cover Plate O-Rings.

These O-rings go between the VTC gear and the cover plate on the front side held on by four 7mm bolts.

These O-Rings seal off the pressurized oil inside the VTC (intake cam) gears. We recommend changing these O-Rings when performing a timing belt service and we include them in our 60K maintenance kit. Each Z32 requires ONE PAIR.

The smaller one is the late model, it sits recessed in a crown on the front of the VTC sprocket. The larger early style covers the entire face of the vtc sprockets mounting face. (Link)

Get them while u can find them most parts for the 300zx are discontinued but z1 Motorsports has taken the task to keep OEM and aftermarket parts for JDM imports these o rings are not easy to find if u do u get the wrong part or the material is not well manufactured so this is a must when replacing CVT cover plate oring

O-ring is fine but z1 should post the dimensions for reference in case you have later model sprockets on an early car.
