Z1's 370Z High-Clearance Rear Chassis Brace replaces the factory steel brace in the back of your 370Z with an aluminum brace, designed to reduce weight while improving clearance and maintaining rigidity.
Constructed from 6061 aluminum, Z1's rear chassis brace is able to achieve a 44% reduction in weight over the stock steel brace, dropping from 11.4 to just 6.3lbs. A slight upward curve was added to the bar to improve exhaust clearance, remedying a problem many aftermarket exhausts have with contacting the factory brace. Low profile mounts with recessed hardware improve ground clearance at the front and prevent you from damaging bolt heads, a common issue with the stock bar. Z1's rear chassis brace can be used with the OEM W-Brace or Z1's Aluminum W-Brace, which will be available soon.
