Product Description
The Mishimoto Nissan 350Z racing thermostat will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. A Mishimoto racing thermostat will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

This thing works as stated! Maintains 156 degrees with ease. Running this low of a temperature will pop a P0128 code for coolant temp below regulating temperature FYI

For HR Engines this T-stat housing is smaller in thickness than the OEM and will require the user to install three new mounting bolts, approximately 3/16” shorter. Unit works under normal operation but have yet to test on track.

Works great for N/A as well just takes a little longer to warm up but works perfectly fine with high heat temperatures in traffic! Be sure to bleed properly

Worked great until it didn’t. Installed it and fixed my over heating issue. Car sat for about a week. Got in to go for a short run, boom over heats again. Changed it out for a oem thermostat And now it’s fine. Not even 400 miles and it failed.

Seems pretty good, easy to install, make sure you order a gasket with this as it does not come with one.. I'm in the middle of a motor swap so can't give any info on the cooling effect right now

WARNING!!! You must have shorter bolts about 1/4 inch. It also doesn’t come with gasket. I didn’t know this about the bolt ended up breaking the om and that is a nightmare to get out. Besides for that I haven’t had a problem.

I do not use a digital thermostat gauge, so I can't give exact temperatures. However, all mating surfaces were good, installed fine, and the engine runs noticeable cooler even on the needle gauge. If you actually need a "low temp" thermostat, you should be good with this one.

Very high quality and looks real nice. Install was pretty easy and paired with a new gasket also from Z1 no leaks at all. Actually makes coolant bleeding easier too.

Best thermostat ever made keeps motor cool no more overheating but only problem is it will throw a code for low coolant temperature might have to tune ecu or get a sensor?

Awesome temp levels way better than the Stock one. Temps move pass 164 as per code reader even in the hottest days. Fit directly no issues no leaks. Yes you can use your old screws.
