Whenever the head is removed, replacement head bolts are required to maintain proper and equal torque and longevity. Head bolts stretch after they're initially torqued and heat cycled over the years, so reusing old head bolts is never recommended.

These can be used as an upgrade for high horsepower forced induction VQ35DE motors, however Z1 recommends using MR Head Bolts as they carry the highest tensile strength of any OEM head bolt.
