Whenever the head is removed, replacement head bolts are required to maintain proper and equal torque and longevity. Head bolts stretch after they're initially torqued and heat cycled over the years, so reusing old head bolts or washers is never recommended. These washers are OEM replacement hardware for all KA24DE equipped vehicles.
