Product Description

Bell Raceworks 350Z G35 Differential Cover Brace

The Bell Raceworks 370Z / G37 Rear Differential Brace provides additional support of the differential in your Z or G, maintaining rigidity as you use and abuse your car.

The R200 rear differential in your G37 or 370Z is mounted to the subframe with a single stud. For most this is sufficient however hard clutch kicks, hard launches, and hard shifts from sporty driving all put tremendous strain on the single stud somtimes leading to faliure. The Bell Raceworks Differential Brace provides additional support using a hole already drilled in the inside of the rear subframe. The additional support reduces strain on the differential cover and stud while simultaneously aiding in the reduction of wheel hop and driveline slop. Made specifically to fit the Z1 High Capacity Differential Cover, this brace bolts directly to the rear differential with supplied hardware.

This brace will not fit NISMO differential covers without first trimming fins on the cover.

Installation of this brace may require partial removal of the rear differential. Included hardware will be installed in the cavity above the inside of the RH (passenger) spring bucket, we've found the best method of installing this hardware is by using a ratcheting wrench with a swivel head. This method is easiest if the brace is loosely mounted to the rear differential first, and tightened on the subframe side LAST.

Note: This product will not fit G37 models with 4WAS, and may not fit properly with certain exhaust systems.

Installation Note: Because this brace is mounted directly to the subframe and differential, users with stock differential bushings or urethane differential bushings (like the Z1 Urethane Rear Differential Bushings) may notice additional NVH. (Noise, Vibration, Harshness)

I own a 2015 Nissan 370Z Z34 Sports Coupe 3.7lt and I finally installed this diff brace and you definitely feel the difference as you have more control and power put back into the rear of the car were that power needs to go instead of losing it. How ever installing this diff brace is a bloody pain in the butt and if you don't have small hands and alot of patience then you will have alot of issues in this area but it is 150% worth the effort and the small amount of money it costs compared to the added power and control it gives you. If I could add before and after photos I would but if you are serious about upgrading your 370Z you'll be stupid not to invest in this part.

Quality and fitment is great. Installed on 2012 g37x with no issues. When installing, make sure to put the diff bolts in loose, then tighten top bolt all the way, and finally tighten diff bolts for easy and quick install.

Great part. NO increase in NVH yet that I noticed. Shifting and power feels a lot better. But it could be a bit tricky to install the subframe attachment. Use some paper towel or rubber band to help set the nut (not the bolt) to the ratchet wrench socket. That way, your nut will stay in place when securing with the brace bolt and aligning with the subframe. Also loosely secure the other two bolt first will help tremendously.

Pretty easy install took all of 20-30 min. Noticed slight tightness from rear nothing crazy but I believe if you pair it with more braces you’ll feel a significant difference

Definitely noticed much stiffer rear end. Feels a lot more responsive during hard acceleration. Definitely worth it. Installed took me about 1 hour little tight getting the brace to the frame but pretty easy install overall.

If you have an isr single exit exhaust do not buy this, you won’t be able to put your exhaust back on and you can’t return it once it’s installed. I’m sure it’s a great part I just can’t use it and now am at a waste of money

My rear differential bushing had popped and leaked everywhere, to replace it it’s a job I can’t handle since my 2010 G37x sedan has a lot of rust and some of the bolts are rusted shut. I put this bell raceworks brace and BOY! you can feel the difference driving at speeds when gunning it. From stop and go you can feel the difference no lag in shifting and no wheel hop. This is the best bang for your buck if your rear differential bushing popped and you don’t change it this will definitely be it’s replacement.

Already had upgraded bushings before installing this piece so I cannot notice any difference. The only reason I did it was for added peace of mind that my drive train is secure. I was skeptical since I had heard of forum members complaining about fitment, however, I had zero issues and it installed with ease, just make sure you have two 19mm wrenches and you will be set.

I just put this part on my 2013 G37S 6spd. sedan yesterday and it is by far one of my favorite upgrades and definitely the best bang for the buck drivetrain/suspension mod. Before this part, the car always had a hesitation before putting the power down and was not precise. Now it is razor sharp and even shifts better. (This is noticeable even on my snow tires?!?) I originally got this to help with wheel hop, but I will have to wait until I put the summer tires back on this spring to be sure. Another nice thing is that there is no additional NVH. (My car also has the Z1 400hp package so you may notice some NVH with stock exhaust and bushings) This part can be installed on the sedan WITHOUT having to disconnect the rear differential and slide it forward. It bolted right up to my Z1 rear differential cover. For reference: My car already has the Z1 differential front and rear bushings, rear subframe inserts, transmission & motor mounts, and the car rides on Tein Basis coilovers
