Located inside of the door jam of both the Driver and Passenger doors, the Door Position Switch indicates the position of the door (OPEN/CLOSED) through a simple contact switch. Available for either side, with or without the optional grommet.
Over time this switch can fail causing issues with the door locks, anti-theft alarm system and interior lights.
Replacement of door switch boots is recommended and can be purchased HERE.
